TRUSTEES

The Group Trustees ensure the group operates legally and safely, following Scouting rules, charity laws, and safeguarding policies. They oversee risk management, ensure proper procedures are in place, and support leaders in maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for young people. 

 Trustees manage budgets, oversee fundraising, and apply for grants to keep the group financially sustainable. They ensure funds are spent responsibly on equipment, activities, and facilities while maintaining transparent financial records. 

 Trustees provide long-term vision and support to the group, helping to recruit volunteers, maintain the Scout hut and resources, and develop future plans. Their work allows section leaders to focus on delivering exciting and engaging Scouting programmes for young people.
